The Justice and Global Relationships Virtual Experience is being offered in partnership between World Renew and The King’s University. This 9-session virtual learning experience is open to all Canadians who are committed to learning about and promoting justice and advocacy.

Purpose

This online opportunity will help the participant to understand the role of Justice in Global Relationships. Sessions will be held 2-3 times/month, from 12:00-1:30 MST/2:00-3:30 EST. Sessions will focus on topics such as:

  • Development ↔ Justice

  • Government and Advocacy

  • The Refugee Crisis

  • Natural Disasters

  • Poverty, Development, and Climate Change

  • Gender Justice

  • Sources of Hope

Do I need to be a King’s University Student to participate? No. This experience is open to anyone interested in learning about justice in Global Relationships.

Is there a cost associated with this opportunity? There is no cost associated with this opportunity.

Do I need to attend every session? I may not be available. You do not have to attend every session. However each session builds on the previous session to give participants a well-rounded experience.

Do I need to be a young adult? No. This opportunity is open to anyone of any age.

Will there be homework? No homework is required but we will provide supplemental reading materials on our Global Relationships and Justice site should you wish to have more information.
