We’re responding to the hunger crisis around the world. Your support will provide more families with needed food assistance and relief amid conflict and drought.
Global hunger is on the rise
The global food crisis we see today is due in part to three main components: conflict, climate, and COVID-19. Disruptions in food production, supply and distribution have resulted in the number of people struggling with hunger globally to double to 276 million.
In places like South Sudan, Madagascar, Bangladesh, and Haiti, chronic issues relating to climate and conflict create the same old problems, year over year. And news outlets don’t report about them because they’ve already told that story.
World Renew is joining Integral Alliance and fellow members to advocate for the stories taking place in the background. Every story is worthy of attention, especially when families are in need of food assistance.
