Your gifts today will go to our Middle East Response Fund and help us respond in Gaza and neighbouring regions impacted by this situation.

As a Christian humanitarian organization committed to sharing God’s love and hope with all those who lack access to the necessities of life, struggle with hunger, poverty, and the overwhelming hardships that natural disasters and human conflict can create, World Renew is responding to those left vulnerable by the Middle East crisis.

We are mindful that there are tremendous needs in Israel and Palestine. As a humanitarian organization we work where we are invited, where the needs are greatest, and where local authorities may not be able to be relied upon for relief or capable of an adequate response without external involvement.

World Renew is supporting a peer organization in the Integral Alliance that is responding to the emergency needs of the most vulnerable civilians impacted by this crisis and has successfully supported shipments of medical supplies to Gaza. Humanitarian assistance is difficult to provide right now and we ask for your prayers. The intensification of hostilities have meant that pausing activities is necessary for the safety of staff, many of whom have been displaced themselves. Read World Renew’s full statement here.

Meanwhile, this unrest also impacts the already tenuous situations across the region, including those in Lebanon. And people in Syria still reeling from the earthquake one year ago may also benefit from your generosity. Your gifts today will go to our Middle East Response Fund and help us respond in Gaza and neighbouring regions.

Pray for the Middle East

At the request of our partners and staff, please join us in praying for:

  • The safety and protection of all civilians caught in the crossfire of violence

  • Easy access to safe shelter, clean water, and food for displaced families
  • God’s healing for families who have lost loved ones to the violence
  • Hearts to be softened, and arms opened to embrace peace on both sides of the unrest
  • Guidance for all humanitarian agencies monitoring the events in Palestine and Israel that they will find the most efficient means to deliver emergency supplies to the most vulnerable
  • The elderly and vulnerable who are at greatest risk of harm
