Mike Fennema, Laos Country Consultant: When traveling to remote communities, we often have to travel long distances. In this photo, we stopped for lunch along the road, opened the lid of the truck, spread out the food and had a quick lunch. The basket is full of sticky rice which is a staple in Laos. Laos is one of the only countries in the world where sticky rice is used as the main staple. (In most countries it is used in desserts). PHOTO CREDIT: Tom Post, World Renew Asia Team Leader
