Volunteer Intern – Climate Witness Project (Canada)
The intern will provide support to the World Renew Climate Witness Project (CWP) in Canada by assisting and supporting the Canadian Justice Mobilizer and Canadian Regional Organizers of the CWP. The emphasis for this position will be on learning about working within a Christian NGO, with a focus on climate change awareness, policy, and advocacy.
General Duties and Responsibilities
Learn and Absorb:
Climate Witness Project
The student will have the opportunity to do some hands-on learning by helping to create some climate care resources, tracking Canadian climate change policy, assisting with advocacy campaigns, and completing other projects as assigned by the supervisor.
Education and Experience
3rd/4th year university or post graduate student with a post-secondary institution and experience in the following areas: justice, environmental or other sciences, politics, theology, communications.
