WHAT WE DO

Known as the “pearl of Africa,” Uganda has varied landscapes, from volcanic mountains to lush rainforests. Over 80% of the population live in rural areas, and almost half of the population is 15 years of age or younger. Although the country has greatly reduced monetary poverty in recent years, it still faces hurdles in improving sanitation, electricity, education access, and child health. World Renew works to help vulnerable families and communities achieve food security, improve livelihoods and income, and become more resilient to disasters and economic shocks.
