In February, the loss of life in the conflict between Israel and Hamas surpassed 30,000. On the last day of the month, more than 100 lives were lost during a food distribution. As an organization that is called to feed the hungry, give water to the thirsty, clothe the exposed, and shelter the displaced, we at World Renew grieve as the suffering in the region continues. Please pray with us:

Mighty God, surround those who are grieving and hurting with your comfort and the communion of fellowship in this time of great loss and disruption.

Wonderful Counselor, sometimes we do not even know what to pray. Grant us wisdom and guide us through these turbulent times, when it feels as though the cycles of violence will never end.

Prince of Peace, encourage those who are working for peace through justice. Bless efforts to build a lasting peace where all Your children can flourish.

Everlasting Father, protect those made vulnerable in this conflict. Each person is an image bearer of you and so many are hungry, distraught, and in need of medical care and shelter. Draw them close to you in their suffering and provide for their every need.

God Who Sees, help us to see, hear, and love one another as you do. May we follow you faithfully into the circumstances where your love and mercy can be made tangible.

Alpha and Omega, you are the Beginning and the End. Make a way where we do not see a way forward. Bless all nations with well-being, freedom, and hope.

Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer. Amen.
